The man who does not read has no advantage over the man who can’t read. – Mark Twain

- To dive into the mind of a master martial artist, I always suggest starting with The Book of Five Rings by Miyamoto Musashi. Go Rin No Sho (as it’s known in its original Japanese) is one of the most-read books on strategy, tactics, and mindset for achieving success in battle. Whether the battlefield is on the street, in the boardroom, or over your own fears.
The first place to start, The Personal MBA, is by far, my favorite book. I return to it and study it each week, Everything from business basics to more advanced strategies and tactics is here. Not to mention also how to learn to work with yourself and others, an often overlooked but very important skill set. Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned veteran you owe it to yourself to add this book to your library. Not only will it save you a ton of headaches, but the knowledge gained will also rival that of those who “invested” hundreds of thousands of dollars of individuals who have a slip of paper on their wall titled, Master of Business Administration, without the $150,000 price tag.
